Responsibilities: Working with a select cohort of young people building up a strong relationship doing 1:1 mentoring session. During sessions I support young people with self-esteem, confidence, mental health and address any barriers they have. Also, I participate and support the young people in the Achieve after school club in group sessions in response to the needs and interests of the young people. The aim of my role is to encourage young people to realise their aspirations and to recognise personal strengths and abilities to become the best version of themselves.
Favourite part of your job: Getting to engage with young people and building up a good relationship and making a difference in their lives.
Hobbies/Interest: Walking, spending time with family and friends. Travelling places to see the history and culture.
