Clare Walmsley

Change Direction Youth Mentor

Date Started: Sep 2024

Responsibilities: I work with young people in the Harrogate and Ripon area on a one to one basis either in school or the local community. I love helping them and inspiring them to make safe and healthy choices so they can enjoy life to the full.

Favourite par of your job: Definitely meeting the young people! I love hearing about their lives and interests, and their hopes for the future.

Hobbies: I have a small holding and love spending time with my animals and pets! I also love running and have started doing cani-cross with my border collie, Splash! I enjoy nights in, in front of the fire, a cat on my lap watching Strictly Come Dancing with my family.
