Responsibilities: My key role is to support NYY’s delivery on a project which aims to test a model of trauma-informed intervention for children and young people who are part of the Change Direction scheme. This involves promoting best practice both within the organisation, and with external partners across the wider project. I work closely with key colleagues to embed the trauma-informed approach, developing projects and work on key themes e.g. youth voice, staff wellbeing, policies and procedures.
Favourite part of your job: I love being part of small working groups with colleagues, developing ideas that will maximise the support we are able to offer to young people, having a positive impact on their lives - this is something I feel very passionate about.
Hobbies/Interest: When I’m not at work, you will find me in my ‘happy place’ down in my garden growing and planting! I also enjoy exploring new places with my family and I like to go and see live music and comedy whenever I can.
