Responsibilities: I work as a change direction youth mentor with a variety of young people in the Knaresborough/Harrogate area. I work one-to-one either in school or the local community. I support young people navigate the challenges of adolescence, build resilience and encourage them to make positive choices.

Favourite par of your job: Knowing I am supporting young people through a difficult time in their lives and helping them achieve their full potential.

Hobbies: Having three grown up children and two grandchildren, family is very important to me, and I love spending time with them all. I have recently got into DIY and am now in the process of designing and creating a new garden. I love travel and visiting historic places around the world. I go to the cinema as much as possible and who doesn’t love a good meal out!
