We support youth club development through regular liaison, advice and club visits, as well as bespoke training and a wide range of activity and issue-based resources. We can help new and existing clubs with consultation, assessing local need, model policies and procedures, NYY membership, DBS checks and safeguarding guidance.
We also help build future provision by supporting young leaders through non-formal accreditation, giving them valuable experience in volunteer youth work roles. In addition, affiliated clubs have opportunities to attend our annual free activity day at Carlton Lodge Activity Centre, along with discounted rates on further activities and residential stays.
The NYY team can support you with everything you need to run safe, positive and fun activities for young people. Whether you’re just starting out or already running a club, we’re here to help.
Our Youth & Community Development Workers are based across the county, so there’s always someone nearby who can offer guidance and practical support. For new clubs, we can help you put the right foundations in place. For established clubs, we respond to your needs — whether that’s fresh activity ideas, fundraising support, volunteer development, or anything else that helps your club thrive.
We’re here to work alongside you, whatever stage you’re at.
