Responsibilities: One to One sessions in school with young people to support their emotional wellbeing, support their social and personal development, to help them develop positive coping strategies, to stay safe and to make good choices.  Targeted group work in school / after school such as Anger Management, Girls Group, Craft Group. Signposting and referring to other agencies and services, promoting positive activities and getting young people involved in hobbies and interests, clubs and support groups. Safeguarding young people and sharing information to keep them safe, submitting intelligence to Police and reporting incidents via 101, writing reports for Child Protection Conferences, attending Child in Need and Child Protection meetings and liaising with Social Workers. Completing Early Help Assessments and attending Team Around Family meetings with schools and other agencies when parents are asking for additional support from Early Help.  Working with Mental Health Support Team in Craven to hold consultations to step up and step down cases to the appropriate levels.  Working closely with school pastoral teams to share worries about school and advocate for young people when they need it.  Run weekly term time youth club for young people to attend, and promote positive activities and community work in the school holidays, including taking young people on residential trips. Ensuring that case notes and reports are submitted on time, and all information is accurate and correct, compiling weekly and quarterly reports and case studies. Telephone support for parents as and when needed to keep them informed or to respond to parent or young person in crisis.  Providing resources and activities for one to one sessions, sourcing, creating and printing worksheets and workbooks.  Attending meetings such as Trustee Meetings, Police Meetings, Community meetings. Supporting and enabling young people engage in support in their preferred way or preferred location if they are not in school, such as a community setting.
