Responsibilities: I work and support youth provision across the Ryedale area to increase and develop safe and fun activities for young people. This includes our direct delivery club in Norton, near Malton. I also liaise and consult with young people to seek their views on what they would like their youth provision to look like. I am always looking to recruit willing volunteers to work with Ryedale clubs and to involve the community, wherever possible. I am an LGBTQ+ Champion for NYY.
Favourite part of your job: Part of my job is meeting lots of people, and in particular young people in the area. I have always loved working with young people and was thrilled to take part in a Wellbeing event in Dalby Forest this June! Although the weather was rainy there were still hundreds of smiling faces taking part in the brilliant event.
Hobbies/Interest: Walking, yoga, reading and making quilts.
